Motorcyclist dies after crashing into electric pole in Assam's Nagaon district

Guwahati: A young man died on Wednesday after losing control of his motorcycle and colliding with an electric pole in Tinisukia, located in the Juria area of Assam's Nagaon district. The victim has been identified as Sarafat Ali, a local resident and the son of Nur Islam.

Local reports indicate that Ali was travelling at a high speed when the vehicle veered off course and struck the pole. The force of the collision proved fatal, and he died at the scene.

Officers from the Juria Police Station arrived at the site shortly after the accident. They recovered the body and transported it to Nagaon Civil Hospital to undergo a post-mortem examination. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
