Shillong: Ultramarathoner Dakahi Kyndait claimed first place in the women's category at the World Championship 100K Ladakh Trail to Heaven 2026. This victory marks a major milestone in her endurance career.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma celebrated the win on X. He labeled her a seasoned athlete who has dominated various competitions for years. Sangma noted his personal role in backing her athletic path, stating, "I am happy to have supported her sporting journey."
