Imphal: Security forces and Manipur Police conducted a series of operations across the state on June 4 and 5, resulting in the arrest of two militants and an individual linked to smuggling. These actions are part of ongoing efforts to maintain security in the region, with officials stating that further investigations are underway in all three cases.
On June 5, authorities apprehended Huidrom Boyboy Singh, a 28-year-old member of the People's Liberation Army. Officials noted his involvement in illegal activities, stating he was "involved in arms smuggling and in pasting banners, flags and stars in various areas."
