Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh participated in a Jan Kalyan Shivir held at the HAO Ground in Singjamei, Imphal, on June 20. The public welfare camp gathered various government departments to deliver services directly to residents and educate them on available state and central programs.
The initiative aims to consolidate government offerings onto a single platform, making it easier for eligible citizens to navigate and secure benefits. By bringing officials to the community, the event focused on closing the distance between the state administration and the public.
During the event, the Chief Minister addressed the importance of these outreach efforts in maintaining an accountable and inclusive government. He stated, "The Government of Manipur remains committed to ensuring transparent, efficient, and citizen-centric governance, with a focus on making public services more accessible and inclusive."
Staff from multiple departments processed queries, provided guidance on specific welfare schemes, and assisted beneficiaries on-site. The Chief Minister reaffirmed his administration's goal to guarantee that all deserving individuals receive their rightful benefits through improved transparency and consistent service delivery.
