Shillong: Langsning FC successfully secured their place in the semifinals of the 5th Meghalaya State League after a 4-2 victory against Rymbai Shkenshynriah SC on May 23. This win kept their unbeaten streak alive and pushed the team to 12 points, guaranteeing a top-two finish in Group B.

The match saw Atlanson Kharmaw strike first with a free-kick in the 32nd minute. Samuel Phawa added a second goal shortly after, putting Langsning in control. While Iaishah Bareh narrowed the lead for Shkenshynriah early in the second half, Dajiedlang Wanshnong restored the two-goal cushion in the 70th minute. Shortly after his goal, Wanshnong was sent off following a scuffle, forcing Langsning to finish the game with ten men.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Langsning held their ground. Mecheal Roy Kurbah netted a fourth goal in stoppage time before Harita Suchen scored a late consolation for the East Jaintia Hills side. In other group action, Nangkiew Irat SC kept their own semifinal hopes alive with a 3-1 win over Maram FC, led by a brace from Justerwell Tham.
