Imphal: The National People’s Youth Front in Kangpokpi district is backing Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh. They want him to keep pushing development. The youth group says the visit matters during this rough time for Manipur. They specifically like the new projects aimed at fixing local healthcare.

"Strengthening healthcare facilities, particularly at the grassroots level, is an important investment in the well-being and future of the people of Kangpokpi," the group said. The visit let locals speak directly to the government. This helped officials understand what the town actually needs.

The youth organization wants action on more than just clinics. They listed education, jobs, and infrastructure as top goals. Connectivity and livelihood support are also on their list. They claim they want to help build a stable and peaceful state. "The developmental initiatives inaugurated today will mark the beginning of continued and sustained efforts towards improving public services and infrastructure," the group stated. They promise to work with the government and other stakeholders to keep the momentum going.
