Kohima: The Indian Air Force is headed to Nagaland for the first open Agniveervayu recruitment rally in ten years. State officials confirmed the event for this September during a recent planning meeting in Kohima. The recruitment drive will take place at the Nagaland Armed Police Training Centre in Chumoukedima.

Local departments are splitting the workload to get the site ready. The Police Headquarters will assign a nodal officer to manage logistics with Air Force brass. Health officials are sending a medical team with two doctors and an ambulance. Four teachers will assist with document verification to ensure candidate data is accurate.

The state wants this to run without a hitch. The Department of Information and Public Relations will push the news across every media channel available. The Air Force will release full eligibility requirements well ahead of the start date. An official statement noted the rally is "expected to provide an opportunity for youth from Nagaland to join the Indian Air Force." Candidates should watch for the official notification at least 45 days before the event.
