Guwahati: Guwahati is preparing to host the 45th Water India Expo at the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre. The three-day event runs from June 2 to 4 and aims to unite stakeholders from across the water and wastewater sectors to address pressing industry challenges.

Organizers expect over 120 exhibitors and 5,000 attendees to participate. The list of visitors includes policymakers, technology providers, manufacturers, consultants, and entrepreneurs. The expo serves as a hub for discussing sustainable water management, advanced treatment systems, and new technologies designed for the Northeast and the rest of India.

The exhibition floor will feature a wide range of products including reverse osmosis systems, filtration technology, recycling solutions, and UV disinfection tools. Companies will also display desalination equipment, water purification chemicals, and packaged drinking water systems. Attendees can participate in live product demonstrations, technical presentations, and networking sessions intended to foster collaboration and the exchange of industry knowledge.

Representatives from engineering firms, government agencies, academic institutions, and construction businesses are scheduled to attend. By bringing these diverse groups together, the event seeks to promote innovation and improve long-term water infrastructure across the region.
