Gangtok District Nears Full Voter Form Distribution

Gangtok: Gangtok District officials hit a 99.68 percent mark for distributing Enumeration Forms under the Special Intensive Revision 2026. This push covers a total electorate of 122,240 people. Election workers already moved 121,844 forms to citizens across all assembly constituencies.

Martam-Rumtek leads with 17,751 forms handed out. Other areas show strong numbers: 16,682 in Tumen-Lingi, 16,292 in Shyari, and 15,981 in Upper Burtuk. Gangtok itself saw 11,967 forms delivered while Sangha recorded 4,161. Print shops finished the full batch of 122,240 documents.

The clock is ticking. The deadline hits on June 28. District Election Office staff warned residents that fast action remains vital. "Timely submission of Enumeration Forms is essential for ensuring an accurate, updated and inclusive electoral roll," officials stated. Booth Level Officers expect full cooperation from everyone yet to turn in their paperwork.
