Kohima: Pranab College teamed up with Dimapur Traffic Police on July 3, 2026, to lecture students on road safety. The event filled the college auditorium. Officials aimed to curb rash driving by drilling the youth on traffic laws and the Motor Vehicle Act.

ACP Zubenthung Ezung walked the crowd through common accident triggers. He demanded better road manners from every driver. Ezung specifically insisted on clear priorities, stating, "He also stressed road etiquette, particularly in giving way to emergency vehicles such as ambulances, fire trucks, and police vehicles."

Sub-inspectors Bokato and Y. Lipenthung Patton joined the talk. They broke down signals and laid out the heavy penalties found in the 1988 Motor Vehicle Act. Ulla Laureen Fernandez chaired the session. Dr. Sanjukta Bhattacharjee opened the floor, and Dr. Alomi Cynthia Shikhu closed the event with a final word of thanks.
