They gathered at Bharat Mandapam for a conference titled Financing India’s Journey towards Viksit Bharat. Sangma used the meeting to refine Meghalaya’s Mission 10 agenda. This plan targets better infrastructure, new jobs, and sustainable growth. The state is pushing toward its vision for 2032. The chief minister believes the gathering offered a vital chance to swap strategies with other leaders.

Sangma praised the event for its practical value. He noted, "Such platforms provide Meghalaya with an opportunity to learn from other states, engage with experts and explore new approaches to financing development as the state works towards its vision for Meghalaya 2032." He thanked Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and fellow participants for the exchange.
