BSF 10 Battalion Announces Public Auction of Surplus Stores in Bishnupur

Imphal: The 10 Battalion Border Security Force has scheduled a public auction for a variety of unserviceable government stores. The event will take place on June 8 at 10:00 AM at the Battalion Headquarters in Loktak, Komkeirap, near the NHPC project site in the Bishnupur district.

Available inventory includes fire fighting equipment, tentage, construction supplies, and motor transport spare parts. Items also include tarpaulins, TTF gear, and various miscellaneous defense stores. The process will be conducted on an "as is where is" basis, meaning goods are sold in their current condition to the highest bidder.

Interested participants must register with the Commandant at least one day before the event. This requires a refundable earnest money deposit of Rs. 10,000. Bidders are also required to present their original Aadhaar card, PAN card, and GST registration number to qualify. Any failure to provide these documents will lead to disqualification from the auction.

Successful buyers must pay the full amount in cash immediately after the sale concludes, as cheques will not be accepted. The BSF does not provide logistics or transportation services for removing the items. Applicable GST will be added according to government regulations. The Commandant retains the right to cancel or postpone the auction, and in the event of a strike or bandh, the proceedings will shift to the following working day.
