BJP Leader Bhupen Borah Criticizes Rahul Gandhi's Stance on PM Modi

Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Bihpuria MLA Bhupen Kumar Borah has publicly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking to reporters in Guwahati on May 22, Borah argued that Gandhi has failed to secure the confidence of the Indian electorate.

Borah asserted that while Gandhi aspired to lead the country, the public has repeatedly rejected his candidacy. In contrast, he attributed the Prime Minister's three consecutive terms to widespread support and faith in his leadership abilities.

The BJP MLA also condemned the language Gandhi uses when targeting the Prime Minister. He suggested that these choices in rhetoric are actively damaging Gandhi's reputation and further reducing his level of acceptance among the general public.
