Kohima: The BJP has officially named Mhomo Humtsoe as its candidate for the upcoming WTC Ward 8 bye-election. The party ticket was formally presented to Humtsoe by Rhanbemo Odyuo, who serves as the BJP Wokha district president.
The announcement took place during a distribution program held at the party office in Wokha on May 29. As the electoral race takes shape, the Naga People's Front has confirmed its support for Aling Lotha in the same contest.
