Arunachal Pradesh Police Apprehend Key Suspect in Major Fraud Case

Itanagar: Doimukh police have successfully apprehended the primary suspect involved in a multi-crore fraud case. The arrest took place in Siliguri, West Bengal, following a coordinated operation that highlighted the growing investigative capabilities and inter-state professional coordination of the Arunachal Pradesh Police force.

The successful operation was conducted by a special team led by Doimukh Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Radhe Obing. The team, which operated under the direct supervision of Papum Pare Superintendent of Police Taru Gusar, included Sub-Inspector M.A. Nur along with constables Pungri Rimo, Hage Tajang, and Techi Nahon. Officials credited the arrest to sustained investigation and the strategic use of credible intelligence.

State Home Minister Mama Natung praised the police department for their precision and dedication in tracking down the accused. Highlighting the broader impact of such criminal activities, Natung stated that organized financial crimes present a significant threat to both public trust and the economic security of citizens. He reaffirmed the government commitment to prosecuting financial offenders and ensuring that the rule of law is strictly upheld throughout the state.
