Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu chaired the inaugural session of CM PRAGATI on May 26. This revamped monitoring platform, previously known as e-Pragati, aims to accelerate the delivery of major infrastructure and strategic projects across the state. By bringing together senior government officials, representatives from public sector undertakings, and agencies like the Border Roads Organisation and NHIDCL, the platform creates a centralized space for real-time progress reviews.
During the meeting, officials from the power, telecom, and oil sectors joined district Deputy Commissioners to discuss the status of ongoing work. The discussions focused on identifying specific bottlenecks that have caused project delays. Khandu addressed existing coordination gaps between departments and agencies, issuing direct instructions to streamline processes and meet revised project deadlines.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the initiative rests on three core pillars: accountability, speed, and timely delivery. He stated that the objective is to ensure that essential projects reach the public without unnecessary obstacles. Moving forward, the platform will function as a high-level mechanism to track project implementation regularly, resolve logistical challenges, and maintain momentum on critical development initiatives in remote and strategic areas.
