Arunachal Pradesh Government Pledges to Resolve Land and Forest Disputes

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has reaffirmed the state government's commitment to settling complex forest and land management challenges. During a meeting of the High-Power Committee on June 18, Mein called for improved coordination between departments to achieve effective policy implementation.

The session focused on developing practical solutions for long-standing regional disputes. Mein stressed the necessity of unified action, noting that the government is "committed to resolving long-pending forest area and land management issues through coordinated efforts and collaborative decision-making."

The meeting included key state leaders, such as Environment and Forest Minister Wangki Lowang and Urban Development and Land Management Minister Balo Raja. Chief Secretary Manish Kumar Gupta and other senior officials also participated to help shape a sustainable approach to managing the state's natural resources.
