Itanagar: Tingong Wangpan struck gold in Mexico. The Arunachal Pradesh athlete claimed victory in the Men’s 200m T37 event at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2026. The competition took place in the city of Tlaxcala.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu lauded the performance. He publicly praised Wangpan for bringing glory to both the state and the country. Khandu shared his pride in an official statement regarding the athlete’s success.
