Army and East Khasi Hills officials inspect Agniveer rally site

Shillong: East Khasi Hills district officials and the Indian Army inspected GTC Happy Valley this Friday. They finished planning for the Agniveer Recruitment Rally. The event runs from August 22 to 24.

Exactly 941 candidates passed the Common Entrance Examination to earn a spot. The Director of the Army Recruiting Office in Shillong led the walk-through with district representatives to check local infrastructure. They need the state government to provide solid logistical support.

Teams focused on security protocols and crowd control. They mapped out every essential facility for the three-day drive. An official statement noted the goal is to "ensure the smooth conduct of the event."
