Army schedules Agniveer recruitment rally in Shillong

Shillong: The Recruiting Office in Shillong is launching an Army Agniveer recruitment rally. It runs from August 22 to 25. The 58 Gorkha Training Centre in Happy Valley serves as the base. Trials cover candidates from every district across Meghalaya.

Shortlisted applicants for General Duty, Technical, and Tradesmen roles are eligible. This includes both 10th and 8th-grade graduates. Candidates must arrive at the venue by 3:30 am sharp. They need their admit cards plus every original document listed in the official notification. The Army has already emailed participants.

The schedule relies on home districts. On August 22, the Army screens men from East Khasi Hills, East Jaintia Hills, and Eastern West Khasi Hills. August 23 brings in West Khasi Hills, Ri-Bhoi, and South West Khasi Hills. The final group on August 24 includes South West Garo Hills, West Jaintia Hills, East Garo Hills, West Garo Hills, North Garo Hills, and South Garo Hills.

Officials issued a clear directive for those struggling with documentation. "Those who have not received their admit cards or are unable to download them have been asked to visit the Recruiting Office in Shillong for assistance." Anyone needing more help can call 0364-2504177 or send an email to [email protected].
