Agartala: Agartala Municipal Corporation officials gathered at the AMC conference hall to prepare for the Sharadiya festival. Mayor Dipak Majumder led the session with municipal corporators and department heads. They focused on maintaining basic infrastructure while the city expects a spike in traffic and pedestrian crowds.

City leaders must now manage water supply, street lighting, drainage, and road maintenance. The Mayor demanded efficient services near Puja pandals and crowded zones. Officials are instructed to monitor their districts closely and fix problems before they escalate. "People’s convenience and safety will remain our priority, and civic services will be managed accordingly throughout the festive days," the Mayor said.

The administration wants a clean, welcoming environment for residents. Coordinated efforts between staff and elected representatives will drive these updates. Everything must run smoothly through the holidays.
