Kohima: The Wokha Town Council has issued a strict notification to all local residents regarding waste management protocols. Officials announced that waste collection services will now be contingent upon proper segregation at the source.

The council emphasized that these measures follow a direct mandate from the Supreme Court. Residents must separate their household waste to ensure compliance with current environmental and disposal standards. Failure to adhere to these new collection requirements will result in the refusal of waste pickup services.
