Kohima: A new Advanced Life Support ambulance was officially launched and flagged off at Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital in Wokha on May 29. The vehicle serves as a mobile intensive care unit, significantly enhancing the district's capacity to provide critical medical transport and emergency care.
The ambulance was provided through a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative supported by the Indian Railway Finance Corporation. Local officials hope the addition will improve healthcare access for residents who require urgent medical attention and specialized equipment during transit.
