West Tripura Officials Finalize Security Plans for NEET UG Re-Examination

Agartala: West Tripura district officials met on Wednesday to finalize preparations for the upcoming NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Chief Secretary JK Sinha led the discussion, which involved the Higher Education Department, police representatives, and members of the state and district coordination committees.

District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar and Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak coordinated the strategy to ensure the exam proceeds securely. The meeting focused on logistics, the safe transport of testing materials, and the deployment of personnel to maintain order at exam sites.

During the session, officials prioritized adherence to National Testing Agency guidelines to protect the integrity of the testing process. According to Dr. Kumar, "During the meeting, officials held detailed discussions on various aspects of examination management, including security arrangements, transportation and safeguarding of confidential examination materials, deployment of personnel, logistical support, and inter-departmental coordination."

The administration remains focused on providing a fair and efficient environment for all students. Superintendent Pathak confirmed that the police force is prepared to implement comprehensive security measures at all designated examination centers.
