Guwahati: Two men lost their lives following a fatal motorcycle crash in the Amguri area of Moran, Assam. The victims, identified as Lakhyadhar Gogoi and Hemkanta Gogoi from Khowang Dulia Lahoal, were traveling home after visiting a relative when the accident occurred.
Authorities report that the motorcycle lost control at high speed and slammed into a roadside tree. One rider died immediately at the scene, while the second victim succumbed to his injuries while being transported to a hospital.
The incident has left the local community in mourning. Police have opened an investigation into the crash to determine the specific circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
