Agartala: Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das traveled to Anand, Gujarat, on Thursday. He met with the National Dairy Development Board to overhaul the state dairy sector. The Animal Resources Development Department head wants better milk production and new infrastructure. He also plans to promote value-added goods to help local farmers earn more cash.
Secretary Deepa D. Nair and Director Dr. Neeraj Kumar Chanchal joined Das for the talks. They looked for technical support and new ways to build the industry from the ground up. The group focused on making rural lives better through economic growth.
Das sees the NDDB as a primary partner for this project. He is counting on their experience to push his agenda forward. "Our vision is to establish a significant and prosperous dairy industry in Tripura, and NDDB's expertise will be pivotal in realizing this ambition," Das stated.
The Minister plans to turn the state into a dairy hub. This visit confirms the state's push to modernise its systems. Guidance from the board should speed up growth and fix broken value chains for farmers across Tripura.
