Agartala: Tripura Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das has raised serious concerns regarding the safety of Hindus and religious institutions in Bangladesh. Speaking at a public gathering on Wednesday, Das alleged that the country is increasingly falling under the influence of extremist forces, leading to frequent attacks on temples and the destruction of religious idols.
Das claimed that forced religious conversions remain a persistent issue as fundamentalist groups work toward removing the Hindu population from the country. He noted that even peaceful religious activities, such as attempts to install statues of Lord Ram, have met with organized opposition. The minister urged observers to recognize the rising intolerance directed at minority communities within the nation.
Highlighting his concerns, Das asserted that those who attempt to undermine Hinduism will eventually face the consequences of their actions. He emphasized that efforts to destroy Sanatan Dharma are bound to fail. During his address, he stated, "The main aim of fundamentalists and jihadis is to make Bangladesh a country without Hindus."
The minister concluded with a stark warning regarding the potential future of the region. He claimed that if Sanatan Dharma were eradicated from Bangladesh, the nation would transform into a land of human skeletons.
