Agartala: Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu introduced the book Tripura: The Land of Timeless Tales this August. The event took place at the Alpha Auditorium inside the 21 Sector Assam Rifles base. The Assam Rifles compiled and wrote the entire volume.

It features the state's historical sites, traditions, and natural beauty. The book aims to boost local tourism by detailing cultural heritage for a national audience. Brigadier Nishant Chandel opened the ceremony with a welcome speech.

The Governor praised the work during the launch. He noted, "Such publications could help create greater awareness about Tripura among readers across the country and encourage more visitors to explore the state's unique cultural and natural attractions." He pushed for the preservation of these stories for the next generation.

Nallu honored the team behind the project. Major Purva Singh and Havildar Nithin Das received recognition alongside the full editorial staff. The military unit continues to focus on public outreach programs to promote regional growth.
