Imphal: The Tenyimi Union Nagaland demanded arrests today. The tribal group wants the killers of six Nagas held accountable after a deadly attack in Manipur. The union claims Kuki militants carried out the act in Kangpokpi district earlier this month. They described the event as a "brutal murder" while labeling the violence as ruthless and inhuman.

The group met at the Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho Building near Kohima. They issued a warning to the state and central governments. Officials must identify and punish the attackers now. Any hesitation in the legal process could lead to serious consequences, the union warned.

Leaders also spoke out about rising violence against women and children. The group insists that no society thrives when its most vulnerable face constant threats. They blamed systemic delays in court cases for emboldening criminals.

The union backed the Nagaland Tribal Hohos Coordination Committee to build stronger ties between tribes. They also pledged support for the Ura Academy to grow the Tenyidie language. Nagaland ministers K. G. Kenye and Salhoutuonuo Kruse attended the session where union president Kekhwengulo Lea signed the final resolutions.
