Tangkhul Naga Long Demands Probe After Deadly Assam Rifles Ambush

Imphal: Gunmen ambushed an Assam Rifles convoy on July 6. The attack occurred near the Lungshang River along National Highway 202. Two soldiers died in the hit. Warrant Officer Balwant Singh and Havildar Chandra Mohan Singh of the 40 Assam Rifles were killed on the spot at 1:45 p.m.
