Guwahati: Mahadev Prakash Teerthe attempted an extreme act while held by Bongaigaon Police. The 23-year-old suspect is now receiving medical care. Authorities recently moved the man from Maharashtra to Assam to face charges.
The incident occurred while the suspect was under active police supervision. Officers rushed him to Bongaigaon Medical College and Hospital immediately following the attempt. He remains there for treatment.
