Sikkim Chief Minister Calls for Mass Participation in National Yoga Record Attempt

Gangtok: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has called on the state's residents to join the Har Ghar Yoga initiative on June 14. Organised by the Ministry of AYUSH, the event seeks to set a Guinness World Record through mass digital participation under the theme Yoga: India’s gift to the world.

Residents can register for the session via the Habuild Online Yoga Registration platform. Once registered, participants will receive a specific link on the morning of the event to join the session, which is scheduled to begin at 6.15 a.m. The Chief Minister described the effort as a national movement and stressed its broader benefits for public health and community cohesion.

Highlighting the importance of the event, Tamang said, "I warmly urge the people of Sikkim to enthusiastically participate and register through the Habuild Online Yoga Registration initiative. Our active participation will make Sikkim a proud contributor to this national movement." He added that the initiative serves as a platform to promote a healthy lifestyle and the spirit of national unity.
