Imphal: Shiv Sena Manipur Pradesh gathered at the City Convention Hall today for a Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. The event marked 25 years of public service by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Former Minister Bijoy Koijam attended as the chief guest, while state president M. Tombi Singh led the function.
Guests included MNDF former president Chingtham Priyokumar Singh, NPP vice-president Ph. Jillasana Sharma, and Manipur Human Rights Commission acting chairman Kangjam Khagendra Singh. Manmeet Singh Arora of the Imphal Market and social activist Ashang Kasar also attended. Organizers handed out traditional shawls to elderly residents and displaced persons.
A blood donation camp opened at 10 am near the convention hall. Koijam praised the party for uniting different communities during the ongoing unrest. He said, "Shiv Sena Manipur Pradesh organising a blood donation camp and bringing together people from different communities amid the prevailing situation in Manipur was a significant achievement."
Koijam pushed for lasting peace. He emphasized that the state needs stability. He specifically noted that communities in Moreh must coexist to revive the local trade corridor.
