Shillong Police Rescue Four Missing Minors Found in City Hotel

Shillong: Shillong police successfully recovered four minors who had been reported missing from Jorhat, Assam. Officers from the Sadar Police Station and the Women Police Station launched a coordinated search after receiving information about the disappearance, eventually tracking the group to the J.K. International Hotel in Police Bazar.

The recovered group consisted of two boys and two girls, all between 16 and 17 years old. At the time of their discovery, they were accompanied by a 26-year-old man. During the initial inquiry, the minors explained that they were friends and cousins who had traveled to Shillong on May 31 for a sightseeing trip without notifying their families.

A team from Jorhat, including the children's relatives, arrived at the Sadar Police Station on Monday to retrieve them. Authorities completed the necessary legal procedures before officially handing the minors back to their families on Tuesday.
