Search crews find third victim of Arunachal cloudburst

Itanagar: Rescue teams pulled a body from the Ranganadi River at Hawa Camp on Saturday. This discovery in Kimin comes after a massive cloudburst slammed NEEPCO Colony on June 24. Two bodies were already recovered earlier this week. Officials now suspect this latest victim is one of the five people swept away by flash floods.

Search operations remain active in Papum Pare and Keyi Panyor districts. Teams face brutal conditions. Hilly terrain, deep mud, and thick debris clog the disaster site. Incessant rain across Arunachal Pradesh makes the work dangerous and slow. Itanagar is getting hammered by the same weather.

The National Disaster Response Force is running the lead on the ground. They are using boats and canine squads to scour the water and shoreline. State police and local administration officials are assisting the search. Authorities have not yet released the victim's identity. Recovery efforts continue for the final two missing people despite the bad weather.
