SCTE Kohima Celebrates B.Ed Graduation for Class of 2026

Kohima: The State College of Teacher Education in Kohima handed out degrees to 44 student-teachers on August 12. This marked the 3rd Graduation Day for the B.Ed Class of 2026. Prof. Gyanendra Nath Tiwari, head of teacher education at Nagaland University, led the ceremony at the Meriema campus.

Anisha Himb served as compere. Dr. Khreizonuo Belho welcomed the guests, and Dr. Asale Vitso offered congratulations. Students from the 3rd semester sang, and graduate Rizi Sangtam gave a speech. She noted, "One of the highlights of the programme was the presentation of Special Awards by Khrieno, Headmistress of Bayavu Higher Secondary School."

Khrieno presented testimonials to Rizi Sangtam, Amit Sonar, Razukhweto Tacu, and Imnanaro Aier for their leadership and teamwork. Swedezhonuo Kirha earned a Commendation Certificate for landing the 18th rank in the Nagaland University B.Ed Examination 2026. Joseph Keneisetuo Belho, a senior teacher at PM Shri GMS, L. Khel, Kohima Village, released the new college magazine. Dr. Thronlem Jorlim Konyak closed the event with a message of thanks.
