Gangtok: The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) has opened recruitment for eight consultant positions in Sikkim for 2026. The organization is seeking qualified professionals to fill roles as Project Research Scientists and coordinators across two specific categories.
PHFI is recruiting four individuals for the Consultant (Project Research Scientist I / District Coordinator) position. Applicants for this role generally require a first-class post-graduate degree or a second-class degree with a PhD. Candidates with an engineering, IT, or computer science background must hold a first-class four-year graduate degree. Essential experience includes one to three years in public health research or program implementation.
A further four vacancies are available for the Consultant (Project Research Scientist II / State Consultant) role. These positions require more extensive expertise, typically demanding a first-class post-graduate degree with at least three years of experience or a PhD. Professionals with engineering or technical backgrounds are required to have five years of experience. A PhD in a health-related field and experience serving as a Principal Investigator or Co-PI on at least five projects are considered desirable qualifications for these roles.
