Imphal: The National People's Party is expanding its grassroots reach in Manipur by appointing new leaders to the National People's Youth Front. These selections, approved by National President Nickey Nongkhlaw, target both hill and valley districts to bolster youth political participation.

Aduoo Dominic Paotsina joins the state executive as General Secretary for political affairs. The party also filled key district roles to manage outreach and organizational activities. In Kangpokpi, Dr. David Paoginsei takes over as President alongside General Secretary Lalginsei Lhouvum. Churachandpur and Pherzawl districts will be led by President Paul Zabiekrem and General Secretary Immanuel Hmingsanglur.

Other regional appointments include Advocate S.P. Thaongaolou in Senapati and H.B. Molarrhing in Chandel, while Tongsin Newry Anal becomes the General Secretary for Tengnoupal. The valley region also saw new leadership with Elangbam Herojit Singh named President of the Kakching district unit, supported by Secretary Thoinao Ahongshangbam.

NPYF Manipur President Arnold Sanasam issued a directive for all new members to begin their work immediately. He instructed the team to "discharge their duties in accordance with the constitution and guidelines of the youth front." Political observers expect these appointments to help the party navigate the state's complex security and ethnic landscape by deepening engagement with local voters.
