Kohima: Deputy Commissioner TL Kiusumong Tikhir recently directed local health authorities to ramp up tuberculosis screening efforts across the district. The instruction came during a joint meeting involving the District TB Forum and the District AIDS Prevention and Control Committee on May 26.

The discussion focused on coordinating public health strategies to better identify and treat patients. By aligning the efforts of the tuberculosis forum and the AIDS control committee, officials aim to improve health outcomes and reach vulnerable populations more effectively within Niuland.
