Kohima: NITI Nagaland is opening the 4th Morung Scholarship Test to students across Nagaland, Assam, and Manipur. The testing window runs every Saturday throughout September and October 2026. Schools, colleges, and parents should take note. Winners can secure cash awards up to Rs. 10,000 and full scholarships covering NEET and JEE preparatory courses.
Eligible candidates include Class XI students, Class XII students, and repeaters or droppers. The program applies to NITI Academy tracks, including crash courses and specialized tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Institutions can host these tests on their own campuses to boost accessibility. NITI Nagaland stated, "Repeater programmes will be supported by IITian faculty members, providing structured preparation, subject focused teaching, regular assessments and guidance to help students achieve competitive examination success."
Successful test-takers will receive recognition at a formal award ceremony. This event is scheduled for December 2026 at the NITI Dimapur Centre. School principals and teachers are urged to circulate these details to ensure students have the best shot at these academic opportunities.
