Kohima: Akhavi P. Sema of Kitami Village died Thursday evening in Dimapur. The loss hit hard. He was the father of MLA Dr. Sukhato A. Sema.
Deputy Chief Minister Y. Patton shared his grief over the passing. He sent sympathies to the family on behalf of his own relatives. Patton prayed for their strength and comfort. He stated, “May the departed soul rest in eternal peace.”
The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Nagaland also issued a statement. President S. Richard Humtsoe noted the profound sadness felt by the party and its members. They identified the deceased as Akavi Wotsa, the father of Dr. Sema. The party offered solidarity to the bereaved, describing the loss as a void that cannot be filled.
