Nagaland Governor Backs Brahma Kumaris Social Programs

Kohima: Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav met with Rajyogini Sister Rupa, director of the Brahma Kumaris Kohima Centre, on June 22. They discussed ongoing efforts to improve community life across the state. The group runs seminars, workshops, and meditation classes for youth, women, and security forces. These sessions focus on building character and promoting positive thinking to help people handle the stress of modern life.

Sister Rupa introduced the Governor to the upcoming Mission Karmayogi initiative. The program aims to train government officials at Lok Bhavan in Kohima. It teaches value based governance and strong leadership skills. The Governor lauded the Brahma Kumaris for their significant contributions in the fields of spiritual education, ethical leadership and social transformation.

Yadav encouraged the organization to reach more people in Nagaland. He praised their work in promoting mental well being and moral values. Both sides agreed to keep pushing for better leadership and community health throughout the region.
