Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio Appoints Five New Advisors

Kohima: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has appointed five members of the legislative assembly to serve as advisors for various government departments. Cabinet Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen announced the changes through an official notification released in Kohima on Monday.

Alongside these new appointments, the Chief Minister reshuffled the portfolios of an additional legislator. These adjustments took effect immediately to better utilize the practical experience of senior lawmakers across the administration.

The move aims to strengthen governance by integrating experienced legislators into key advisory positions. This reorganization is intended to improve departmental management and ensure the state government functions more effectively for the public.
