On June 10, Modi became the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in India, surpassing the previous record with an unbroken tenure of 4,399 days. Since first taking office on May 26, 2014, Modi has secured a second term in 2019 and a third in 2024.

Addressing a press conference at the Nagaland state BJP office in Kohima, Patton reflected on the government's progress over the last 12 years. According to the Deputy Chief Minister, these years have been defined by a commitment to public service and the aspirations of the Indian population.

The government reported several major milestones during this period, including lifting nearly 250 million people out of multidimensional poverty. Infrastructure development remains a core focus, with the number of operational airports growing from 74 to 164 and the construction of 26 greenfield expressways. In the social sector, the government provided free food grains to over 81 crore people and facilitated tap water connections for 10.5 crore rural households through the Jal Jeevan Mission.

Financial and empowerment initiatives also featured prominently in the report. Additionally, the government has supported over 10,000 startups and disbursed more than Rs 40 lakh crore through the Mudra Loan Scheme. Looking ahead, Patton expressed confidence in the nation's trajectory, stating that India is on track to become the world's third-largest economy by 2027.
