Kohima: NagaEd and the Nagaland Empowerment of People through Economic Development (NEPED) signed a five-year memorandum of understanding on June 10 in Kohima. The agreement creates a framework for the two organizations to collaborate on digital education, renewable energy, research, and community capacity building.
By combining NagaEd's expertise in technology-driven learning with NEPED's focus on natural resource management and community development, the partnership aims to foster innovation across the state. The project will leverage the Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy Studies in Dimapur to drive advancements in energy research and training.
NagaEd Founder Kevisato Sanyü noted that the collaboration seeks to strengthen pathways for sharing knowledge by connecting technology with local expertise. Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Kovi Meyase, added that the alliance will improve capacity-building programs and support sustainable energy initiatives through the center.
