Imphal: Mount Everest College in Senapati celebrated its annual Graduation Day and Parting Ceremony this Saturday. Organized by the Cultural Committee and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, the event honored the achievements of more than 211 students from various departments including English, Physics, Political Science, and Commerce.
Principal Dr. Laishram Vijaya Devi opened the ceremony by congratulating the students for their hard work and dedication. She encouraged the departing class to carry the college values of discipline and responsibility into their future careers. Vice Principal Dr. Gonmei Meithuanlungpou delivered the convocation address, describing the graduates as a vital asset to society and urging them to pursue their goals with compassion.
Reflecting on their academic journey, student representative Mathiulanliu Pamei spoke about the resilience of her peers. She described the group as unstoppable dreamers ready to face the world. The event featured musical performances by Sourav Sultan and concluded with the official presentation of certificates as students prepared to begin the next chapter of their lives.
