Aizawl: Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma took charge of the personnel and administrative reforms portfolio this week. The move follows an official notification from the political and cabinet department released on Thursday.

Home Minister K. Sapdanga previously held the position. He continues to manage the home, urban development, and poverty alleviation departments. The shift happened fast.

State officials confirmed the change takes effect immediately. The government stated the reassignment serves the interest of public service. Lalduhoma now directly oversees state governance and administrative efficiency. The administration is banking on his oversight to sharpen state operations.
