Agartala: Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury addressed a crowd of students, parents, and educators on Wednesday. He spoke at the Maharani Tulsibati Meritorious Students Felicitation Ceremony in Agartala. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad hosted the event to celebrate Rashtriya Vidyarthi Diwas and their own 78th foundation day.
Chowdhury inaugurated the session and met with the award winners. He framed these young people as the bedrock of a self-reliant India. The Minister believes their discipline and talent drive the country forward. He offered high praise for their efforts. "Today's meritorious students are not just the pride of their families or institutions; they embody the hope, confidence and limitless possibilities of a new India," he said.
The Minister linked the success of these students to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a developed nation by 2047. He told the attendees that this goal rests on the shoulders of the country's youth. He demanded patriotism and honesty from the next generation. The program brought together various ABVP members and local leaders to push for academic excellence and public service.
