Kohima: Nagaland Minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse recently advocated for the implementation of agriculture policies specifically designed for hill states. She shared these views while participating in the National Conference on Agriculture for the Kharif Campaign 2026.
The two-day event took place at the NASC Complex in Pusa, New Delhi, concluding on May 29. During the sessions, Kruse highlighted the necessity of shifting away from a one-size-fits-all approach to better support the unique farming landscapes and challenges found in mountainous regions.
