Shillong: The Meghalaya government has appointed state BJP president Rikman G. Momin as an adviser to the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department. Recent official notifications confirmed that Momin will receive perks and facilities designated under Category A for the position.
Alongside this appointment, the government also de-notified James P.K. Sangma from his role as chairman of the Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation. These changes follow a recent reshuffle of state administrative positions.
